Local village pub, 10 minutes walk down the hill from the farm and offers a real village pub atmosphere.  The landlady does wonders from her small kitchen.  Steak pies are a speciality and you can’t go wrong with the home made deserts. Prices from only £5.

The Digger’s Rest, (01395 232375) Woodbury Salterton

Only 3 miles from the farm and easy to find this pub offers a delightful village setting with great food.  Run by young Australians the food is some of the best in the area at an affordable price. Recent best dining pub award.

Halfway House, Aylesbeare (01395 232273)

Only 10 minutes walk up the hill, the pub is a popular eating place and offers a wide menu including fish dishes. 

White Horse, Aylesbeare (01395 232244)

Located on the main Sidmouth to Exeter road the pub has a good menu and often a favourite for families and groups.

Jack in the Green, Rockbeare (01404 822240)

This award winning pub offers both restaurant and bar food.  Featured on TV it recently won the Food Pub of the Year Award and always offers good food, fantastically presented.  Offers a menu varying from bangers and mash to more sophisticated fish dishes. Is popular and so pre-booking may be advisable.

( 01404 812881) Renowned locally for the quality of food produced by the French chief this venue offers a wide and sophisticated menu.  Booking is advisable in summer or at weekends.
